During the
last five years, the West-Kazakhstan region has undergone significant
economic and social improvements. The "Condensate" Group
of Companies have played an important role in improving our region
due to our contributions to the local economy and taxes paid to
the government. In addition, we are a very active member and contributor
to social and political aspects of community life. Some of our involvement
and contributions include:
- According with the “Condensate” Group of Companies
Board of Directors decision, during the last three years, best
graduates and teachers from three schools in the city of Uralsk
and 24 village schools in Zelenov District have been receiving
CGC awards.
- We are in the process of developing a sponsorship
initiative that provides scholarships for talented students in
post-secondary institutions in the West-Kazakhstan region. In
2003, 15 high school graduates qualified for the nominal scholarship
which not only guaranteed the financial assistance while they
attend a post-secondary institution but also work placement with
the “Condensate” Group of Companies upon successful graduation.
- When the “Condensate” Group of Companies celebrated
its 10th anniversary, we have opened a company museum. The materials
collected in the museum reflect the history of our company, its
people and how the growth of the company positively affected the
economic growth of the West-Kazakhstan region. Currently, the
museum is open to the public and many Uralsk's schools choose
to tour the museum to teach their students about the economics
of the West-Kazakhstan region.
- The "Condensate” Group of Companies actively
participates in the Small Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan,
the largest organization for debates on social and political issues
in the country. The role of the Assembly is to evaluate and reflect
on social and political processes and develop policies and recommendations
towards further integration of our society. The Chairman of the
Board, V. Junussov is the member of the Executive Committee of
the Small Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The
contribution and reputation of the "Condensate” Group of Companies
are valued and recognized among citizens of the City of Uralsk.
Our two of the ten Municipal Council members work at the Group:
- Valeriy Junussov, the Chairman of the CGC Board
of Directors, is also the Chairman of the City Council's Energy
and Supplies Committee.
- Vlad Dronov, the VP of Operations for "Condensate"
SC is also the VP of the City Council's Energy and Supplies Committee.
The
"Condensate” Group of Companies is a vertical organization
that proved its ability to deliver quality products through a complete
product cycle in environmentally responsible manner. In addition
to our success in the global business environment, we always stay
close to home, contributing back to our community. So far, we have
successfully met our goals directed towards developing programs
that improve our communities and participation in the democratic
processes. We plan to continue the work in this direction in the
future.
