The Eighth Championship
"Zdorovie" started. Chess Contest
|

A great number of physical training and sport followers,
who work in the Group of Companies "Condensate" welcomed
a long-awaited event. On 17 November the Championship "Zdorovie"
and at the same time a new season have started, that promises
to become a lively sport event.
According to a long-established tradition the first to compete
were the fanciers of intellectual kind of sport - the Chess.
At the beginning 8 teams had to compete in two subgroups.
At the preliminary stage some meeting were of acute and unpredictable
performance.
The leader in the first subgroup became chess-players
from "Energetic" company. Having won out "Nafta",
"ZhaikTrans", and "UralskNefteGasGeology",
the guys from Aksai easily qualified for the final. "Condensate-Aksai"
became the other finalist, but this one was much more difficult
to break through. "Condensate-Aksai" tied the score
with "Soyuz", and won out "Zhaikmunai" and
"Condensate-Uralsk" with minimal score. Soyuz has shown
the same result and just due to additional criteria "Condensate-Aksai"
headed off "Soyuz" composed of representatives of three
companies, such as "OralNefteMashRemont", "ZhaikKarier"
and "ZhaikSport".
As a result the top position was masterfully taken by
"Energetic", which confidently keeps flying colors in
the intellectual kinds of sport through the recent years. It consists
of family trio of Aliev, as well as Alexander Golubov and Aigul
Tulegenova. Condensate-Aksai has taken a second place.
In the contest for a third place held between Soyuz and
ZhaikTrans the stronger one became ZhaikTrans chess-players. No
doubt that the fourth place for Soyuz is a major stride ahead,
as in the previous championship they have done with the last place
in the chess contest. The fifth place was taken by "Condensate-Uralsk",
which in a tough struggle for victory won out "Nafta"
with minimal score.
Unfortunately the last year chess winners "UralskNefteGasGeologia"
and "Zhaikmunai" didn't succeed in setting up a strong
cast. Consequently these teams met in the competition for the
7th and 8th places, where Zhaikmunai players showed more success.
It was nice to meet among the competitioners the old participants
of sport such as Bernhardt Guttenloher (Condensate-Uralsk), Maxim
Hahaev (UralskNefteGasGeology), Mahambet Koishubaev (Soyuz), Imammalik
Muhambetkaliev (Condensate-Aksai) and Mikhail Tuz (ZhaikTrans).
In spite of their age they are still in sport showing a good example
to a younger generation with their worthy game.

has got silver!

On 29th of October a volleyball competition among men's
teams for Kazakhstan Bowl finished in Almaty. In a final fall
9 teams have met as those from "Condensate", "Kazygurt"
(Shymkent), "UKGU" (Shymkent), "UMZ-VKGTU"
(Ust-Kamenogorsk), "KazNAU" (Almaty), "Atyrau"
(Atyrau), "Esil-PZTM" (Petropavlovsk), "KazChrom"
(Chromtau), as well as "Almaty" (ex-Rakhat), which by
a wish of the Republic Volleyball Federation has come directly
to a final fall escaping the eliminatory games.
As expected three strongest teams of Kazakhstan club such
as "Atyrau", "Condensate", and "Almaty"
were among the semifinalists. Though the success of Kazygurt,
which becomes a debutant of the National League in this season,
should not be underestimated. Despite the fact that the team from
Shymkent has lost to "Condensate", the last year owner
of the prize (0:3), and in the match for a third place "Kazygurt"
won out Atyrau volleyball players all of a sudden with a score
3:1 and took a third place.
Having played through the whole tournament without failing
the "Almaty" and "Condensate" volleyball players
have competed for the title of RoK Cup 2007 owner. Unfortunately
the Uralsk team gave in with score 0:3 and became the owner of
silver medal. Yet, this is a very good entry into XVI Championship
of the National League starting on 1st November, in which five
teams - "Condensate", "Kazygurt", "Atyrau",
"Esil-PZTM" and "Almaty" will take part.
The Uralsk volleyball fans will be able to watch games
of national league in their hometown in March next year.
