Great attention
is paid to the promotion of the healthy life style among the employees
and their families within our organization. This includes not only
prohibition of smoking in the workplace, medical examinations and
paid anti-virus inoculations among the employees but also encouragement
to participate in group sport activities. To provide the access
to sports facilities, the management of the Group of Companies "Condensat"
used to rent gymnasiums from the city. However, during 2002-2003,
the Group built their own gymnasiums - one on the territory of the
Group-owned resort "Mechta" and the another - in Uralsk,
which is being turned into a fully equipped sports complex with
the volleyball court, swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium and. Soon,
the employees of Aksajgaspromenergo in Aksaj and LLP Zhaiktrans
in Uralsk will also get their sports complexes.
In the summer
of 2000 the regional government has suggested to the Group to organize
and sponsor a sports club that would train a professional volleyball
team to represent the West-Kazakhstan region at the republican and
international competitions. Our organization has undertaken a full
sponsorship support of the regional volleyball team and named it
"Condensat" During the 2001 professional league volleyball
competition, "Condensate" took first place in Kazakhstan.
Since then, our professional volleyball team has participated in
a number of national and international competitions including the
President Nazarbaev's Cup. The team has won popularity not only
among the Group's employees but also among other residents of Uralsk.
The creation
of the volleyball team has contributed to the creation of the Condensate
sports club managed by S. Kenesov. Besides the regular sports activities
throughout the year, the club organizes intramural group-wide Olympics
within the Group every year starting 2000. Employees and their families
actively participate in the events.
The activities
are not limited just to volleyball - since competitions vary with
season, the activities include cross-country skiing, mini-football,
classical and beach volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess and
checkers competitions, etc. The participants compete within the
companies in both team and in personal competitions. Family members
of the employees are also invited to participate. Since 2000, there
is been three Olympics held and their popularity and a number of
participants has been growing ever since. Employees on all levels
from top management to the entry positions are encouraged to participate.
Participations in the intramural Olympics encourage the employees
and their families to prepare for competitions throughout the year
by staying in shape and maintaining healthy lifestyle.
